In Mongolia, the Global Affairs Canada funded "Enhancing Community Climate Options for Adaptation and Resilience in Mongolia (ECCO-FARM)" project is organizing a meeting on February 3rd in Ulaanbaatar to bring together rangeland and livestock specialists to share information about on-going projects in Mongolia related to range management and pastoral development. The ECCO-FARM project aims to assist rural Mongolians to adopt climate smart agricultural practices, agriculture and nature based solutions and biodiversity protection for sustainable production, agricultural growth, food security and climate change adaptation.  It is working in seven provinces (aimags) of Mongolia in the forest steppe and steppe zones.
