Indian Pastoralists Communities Network (IPCN) launched/celebrated the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists( IYRP 2026) in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh among Gujjar and Gaddi Pastoralist community.Gujjar and Gaddi Pastoralist community welcomed IYRP as a way to have their rights recognised by the UN declaration of IYRP 2026.
