LIVING HERITAGE - EMERGENCY RESPONSE IN CONTEXTS OF CONFLIT AND DISASTER
18 APRIL 2026
International Day for Monuments and Sites will be celebrated on 18 April.
This year, under the theme ‘Living Heritage – Emergency Response in Contexts of Conflict and Disaster’, we reflect on the importance of preserving wool as living heritage, a national textile raw and natural material and a cultural and economic resource for Portugal.
We invite the whole community to join us in celebrating, together, the heritage of wool, which unites us and forms part of our lives and our history.
