Three-days international workshop bringing together researchers, public institutions and stakeholders to discuss the protection and valorisation of Europe’s pastoral routes. The first day focuses on the current situation and good practices across Europe and includes the discussion and approval of the Lleida Declaration. The second day is dedicated to the presentation and collective refinement of a draft European Protocol for the shared and sustainable management of pastoral routes through participatory working sessions. The third day includes a field visit to a local transhumance route project (Camì Ramader de Marina) and dialogue with livestock farmers, connecting European policy discussions with territorial realities. The initiative is organised with the patronage of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Programme.
