“Transhumance: Carding Memories”, a 52-minute ethnographic film that gathers the voices and experiences of transhumant shepherds in the Leonese Mountains. The documentary highlights the cultural, environmental and human richness of extensive herding, showcasing its role as a model of sustainability and intergenerational knowledge transmission.

The Shepherds School in Spain trains existing & future shepherds, also city youth. It arranges exchanges between shepherds from different countries and facilitates pastoralist organisation in Europe and elsewhere in the world.
